PostSubject: 3dslice.net FAQ   Fri Apr 03, 2009 10:24 pm

Alright this is how it works,
I give you a free subdomain off of my website, for an example http://warkid.3dslice.net
You can either chose to A. Host it yourself(Preferably with a static IP address)
Or B I can host it for you.
1 Major rule if you host images do not do drag them to another site, I don't have that much bandwidth, I mean I have unlimited bandwidth but it's not the fastest thing in the world.

Once you email me or post on the forum to access your account go to https://3dslice.net where you will manage your files.
Index.html is your main file where everything is leeched off of. In there you create the body of your html document. If you use php or something as your main page, use your index.html to redirect to another page.

Simple enough, here are the basic conditions:

1. No illegal material.
2. No excessive pornography(I am pretty tolerant with shocksites) ABSOLUTELY NO CP
3. Do not off link images or movies.
4. Do not host humongous files, the server has a virtual hard drive that is 25 gigabytes which is a bit small, I'll switch it in the future and edit this if need be.
5. Do not host viruses, though if you are planning to attack me the server runs in linux.

Why am I doing this? Don't know really, just for fun really. (It's a good learning experience I suppose.) (I will NEVER look at the contents of your files, I may read the filenames of them however if I happen to glance over them while reorganizing files.)

Oh and you do NOT need a forum account to post. I hate forums that require you to register(which are all of them).
